The central theme of the Final Frontier: Space Idle RPG game is the intense battle between The Gideons and the Arachnids in a dense jungle. However, the Obelisks, which had safeguarded Earth for countless years, have now been deactivated. As a result, the enemy has launched another attack and taken control of the galaxy. In order to withstand attacks from wild creatures, players have the option to choose from different Hero characters and weapons. By clearing each level, players can earn rewards that can be used to upgrade their Heroes and weapons, making it easier to defeat the Boss Arachnids. The destination location is indicated on the map, and players can fly their spaceship to that location by double-tapping on it. If dangerous biosignatures are detected, additional Heroes can be added to the squad. The game is divided into multiple chapters, each containing levels such as Arrival, Menace, Lair, Assault, Setup, etc. To add Heroes, players can click on the plus symbol and select the Hero's portrait, then click on attack to start the battle. To distract enemies, players can activate the defender's skills. To move between systems, players can tap on the Galaxy button and choose the marked system.

In the Final Frontier game, there are multiple systems in the galaxy including Acer, Kuerro, Ribol, Scorlon, Elajoy, Vyiold, Hoski, Solozez, Phora, and more. There are also various game modes like Campaign, Operations, Tournaments, etc. Players can explore the map to find Mantikul on different planets, which is described as a vast and dangerous creature. Once Mantikul is defeated, players will encounter Neya, an archaeologist whose shuttle is stuck on the planet as she searches for valuable Ruins. Neya invites the player to join her team to collect artifacts that can be sold in the market for money. This money can then be used to upgrade Heroes and recruit new Hero characters like Neya, Rios, etc., for better defense.
