I still vividly recall my experiences with the game GTA San Andreas, as if I had just finished playing it. It was once considered a masterpiece that everyone enjoyed. The publisher may have recognized this, and quietly developed a similar game that could be seen as an improved version of GTA San Andreas. With this upgrade, GTA IV became a hit similar to its predecessor, excelling in everything from graphics to missions and weapon systems. It felt like all my memories came rushing back when I played GTA IV, and the feeling was truly indescribable.
Similar to its predecessor, this game impressed players with a vast open-world map that allows for free exploration and mischief. The map in GTA IV is notably larger and more detailed than in previous versions, offering a completely refreshed experience. The city has been redesigned to resemble modern-day life, drawing inspiration from New York City in the US.
Due to its open gameplay, players have the freedom to select their character in the game as they see fit. However, the character options available may not be as diverse as one would expect, as they are limited to choices between characters with varying skin tones. Despite this limitation, the game's plot system is highly praised for its excellence. The missions provided in the game are reportedly not overly complex, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the game's storyline. One standout feature of the story mode is the voice acting, which is noted for bringing the characters to life and enhancing the overall gaming experience.
There are various ways to enjoy playing games, depending on our preferences. Some players may choose to follow and complete all the missions in story mode to progress in the game, while others may prefer to cause chaos in the city to release stress. Each player has their own reasons for playing, but this flexibility is what makes games like GTA worth playing.
The feature I appreciate most about this game is the ability to establish our own servers and set our own rules. Players must adhere to these rules, essentially becoming citizens of the city. The consequences of breaking the rules are severe, as fellow players acting as police officers will relentlessly pursue offenders until they are caught and sent to prison.
