When Survivor.io was made accessible to players through the mobile battle version, it caused a significant impact. For individuals who enjoy first-person shooting games, this will be an excellent option.
The minimalistic cartoon graphics in Survivor.io take a backseat to the main attraction of gameplay. Players are placed in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutant animals and zombies. Some of the undead creatures encountered include zombie dogs, heavily armored zombies, and deformed creatures like worms, butterflies, bugs, and snails. For example, when butterflies die, they leave a toxic waste behind, which dogs then quickly consume, causing them to multiply in large numbers.
At first glance, the game seems to have only a few basic components, such as accessing the game screen and trying to complete simple tasks to gain experience and level up your character for the next session. The appeal of Survivor.io goes beyond just its rogue-lite gameplay. Once stages 2 and 3 are completed, more advanced features become accessible.
The game is currently in development to incorporate various forms and extensive features resembling a hands-free game. In Rogue-lite mode, players have access to six slots for weapons, armor, necklaces, belts, gloves, and shoes. These slots can store items obtained from chests or through completing tasks. Items are categorized as white for the lowest grade, green for slightly better, blue for reasonably decent, and so forth. Players can enhance these items as they progress in the game and earn currency and artwork. Each item's level milestone unveils additional hidden statistics.
Time is monitored as you progress through each level, and if you successfully reach the end without dying and defeating the final boss, you will be considered a winner. The main character starts at level 0 and needs to collect different types of diamonds to advance to higher levels. Since enemies drop these gems when they are defeated, avoiding combat will slow down your leveling progress. Upon reaching a new level, you will gain access to three new skill choices.
We will classify the skills as either offensive or supportive. Attackers have the ability to execute various strikes with specific objectives due to their talents. Select the skills that will benefit you the most and enhance them from level 1 to 5. By collecting enough stars, you can decide whether to upgrade the level of that skill (shown in red). Additional talents have the potential to enhance your natural advantages, like health, speed in inflicting damage, or the range of diamonds, enabling you to collect resources from the ground with less movement.
Aside from diamonds, there are various items that can help you gain an advantage against zombies. These could include a bomb to eliminate all enemies, a bag of gold coins for purchasing items after finishing a level, a pig's leg for healing, or other helpful items.
The game will feature a smaller boss, a monster in the middle level, and a final boss displayed on the screen. The mini-bosses will look and behave like typical zombies, but they will be bigger and stronger. The intensity will increase when a certain area gets locked, trapping you inside with the mini-boss closing in. The ultimate monster at the end will look similar to the mid-level boss but will pose a greater challenge to overcome.
To advance to the next level, you must finish the previous one. If you die while in the middle of the screen or while facing a boss, and wish to keep playing, you will need to exit the game and use in-game currency to boost your character's strength.
