Before the game starts, you can choose to change the character you control and their role, which will change their passive skills. You can also plan ahead for battles by creating decks that will help you gain and improve abilities during battle. Some skills can be removed or focused on more to improve them. There is also a training menu where you can level up and learn new powerful abilities to enhance your existing skills and do strong attacks.
