Certain characters can be freed from the gems and join the protagonist as companions.

Players do not have to press multiple buttons or use directional arrows to control the character's movements. Battles will begin automatically when the player encounters an enemy, and the player's role is to observe the outcome. Additionally, players can collect gems that trigger powerful attack abilities, as well as rescue characters to join their team.
